David Archibald

Owner and President

David Archibald is our Owner and President. He opened our doors in 1991 after obtaining his Master of Business Administration from VCU. He is happily married with two grown children, a dog, and a granddog. In his spare time, you can find him spending time with family and friends, playing golf or the guitar, and cheering on the VCU Rams.

James Meadows

Licensed Agent and Office Manager

James Meadows is our Office Manager of 30 years, and Archibald Insurance would not be what it is without him. Even though he has a lot on his plate (including quoting, writing new policies, and keeping us all in line), he enjoys being the office prankster and telling dad jokes to keep us entertained. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family and checking out cool cars and motorcycles.

Lora Humphreys

Licensed Agent and Social Media Administrator

Lora Humphreys has been with Archibald Insurance since 2001. She is also known as “Dave’s little sister” and came to work for him shortly after graduating from VCU. She is one of our customer service agents and also runs our social media pages. In her spare time, you can find her chasing around two teenage girls, attending concerts, and cheering on her beloved VCU Rams!

Kathy Pearson

Licensed Agent

Kathy Pearson is one of our quoting agents who has worked in insurance for over 25 years. We have been blessed to have her with the Archibald Insurance family since 2006! Outside of work, Kathy enjoys spending time with her two grown children, and the light of her life, her grandson.

Jen Martin

Licensed Agent

Jen Martin is one of our dedicated customer service agents. She has been in the insurance industry for 10 years (all of which have been at Archibald Insurance). She has lived in Chesterfield County her entire life, but her dream is to move to the beach one day. Her world currently revolves around her two kids, dog, cat, and the Dallas Cowboys!

Tony Cox

Licensed Agent

Tony Cox is one of our newest licensed agents and also happens to be Dave & Lora’s nephew. He is currently working in customer service and is working towards quoting new policies in the near future. Outside of the office, Tony enjoys working on cars, exploring the outdoors, and watching football. He also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their variety of pets, including their cats, hamster, and leopard gecko.

Lisa Knight

Licensed Agent

Lisa Knight is our “newest” licensed agent at Archibald Insurance, but we say that hesitantly. That is because Lisa was actually a licensed agent with us nearly 30 years ago! She left for a number of years to be a stay-at-home mom to her three boys and explore other opportunities, but we’re so happy to have her back! Another fun fact is that Lisa is Teresa’s sister (who also works with us). Lisa is happily married and enjoys spending time at the beach and the mountains with her family.

Teresa Mortimer

CSR and Database Manager

Teresa Mortimer is our jack-of-all-trades. She handles everything behind the scenes including our office management system, data entry, and reports. You may also speak to her when you call or come in to make a payment. In her spare time, you can usually find her cheering on her kids at the pool—her daughter is a high school swimmer, and her son swims for his college. She loves animals and has “too many pets” according to her husband but not enough according to her.
